Our hospital (Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital) has recently upgraded our LASIK facilities with the latest technology called CUSTOMCORNEA® LASIK. This uses wavefront technology to diagnose the irregularity and unevenness showing a 3D map of your cornea. Hence, the LASIK treatment can be customized according to your cornea. It can correct higher order aberrations (visual distortions) that eyeglass prescriptions cannot correct, such as halo, glare, and difficulty driving at night giving you better quality vision.

Current promotional package deals for both eyes:

1. CustomCornea LASIK RM 6800
2. Conventional LASIK RM 5000
3. Conventional PRK RM 4000

To find out if you are suitable and which one is suitable for you, a full screening test is required. The test cost RM 190 + RM10 registration. If you proceed with the surgery, RM 190 will be refunded to you. After the surgeon has examined your eyes and look at all your test results, he/she will recommend the most suitable laser eye surgery for your eyes as according to the above 3 packages

Please make sure you do not wear soft contact lenses 2 weeks before your appointment to ensure accurate measurements and treatment. If you wear hard contact lens, you will need to remove it for 4 weeks.

Recommended age: > 21 years old

 Difficulty in looking into bright light for few weeks
 Increase night glare
 Fluctuating vision for few weeks
 NO cases of blindness reported after LASIK
